Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno reminds the importance of disaster mitigation to prevent material loss and victims when disaster occurred, especially earthquake.
We should be more prepared and aware
According to him, training to build people awareness towards disaster such as disaster standard operating procedure (SOP) training is needed thus people become more prepared and aware.
"Our location is prone to earthquake. We should be more prepared and aware," he said, after meeting with BMKG's Meteorology Division Deputy, Mulyono Rahadi Prabowo at City Hall, Monday (2/12).
Disaster Post Built in Kampung PuloHe explained, Jakarta Provincial Government will improve cooperation with BMKG to enhance preventive measures.
"We will improve our coordination and information. Related to earthquake, there is a golden period within 20 seconds from early earthquake indication until the quake is felt from a source with about 200 kilometers distance," he explained.
